Musical artists from the community mix with the spongy exuberance of preschoolers imparting basic theory (Rhythm, melody, counting, tempo, dynamics,) and emphasizing improvisation with singing, dancing, drumming and over all expression. It is a fact that involving a child with music at a young age improves their IQ, cultural awareness, and self esteem: let’s give the kids a brighter future.
Youth Music Scholarship
Free instruments and instruction are gifted to the children who want and need it the most. To qualify the students write an essay on their passion for music and their goals. They tell their story and we open the next chapter.
Music Drive
Music Drive is a performance with great local artists and influential community leaders coming to every willing elementary / high school to raise funds for their cut music programs as well as to create a community band for all to enjoy. Where does a kid go if he wants to play an instrument and his school has no band program? By combining efforts within every school community, simply throwing concerts, we will create that place and strengthen the programs that already exist.
