Any where you wander will be a unique pairing of wines, music, cuisine and the personalities of their makers. Fashion and art will color the palette as Rashi Stephens (Miss Puget Sound) offers a glimpse into the ‘haute coutre’ world as one of our ambassedors of the arts and Randy Ky stretches the canvas with her deep and mysterious blend of acrylics, ash, sand, and mood into the abstract. Come get inspired by an accessible multitude of passion.
Kid’s Town at Port Gamble Rock n Blues Fest Audust 27 & 28th all day
Savor the Sound presents: Kids Town at the Port Gamble Rock n Blues Fest
August 27th & 28th 10 am thru 8pm Port Gamble, WA where ‘Kids Town’ becomes a metropolis. With the backdrop of the best northwest bands, vendors, and lush forest surround will be a town specially designed for kid’s fun, interaction, learning, and delight.

Kids 12 and under have free entrance to the festival
Enter the safely guarded gate where no child may leave without their parent into a metropolis of fun. Wander to the rootbeer garden and charge up for three bouncy houses (obstacle course, slide, open jumping) getting your ‘wiggles out’. Then get your face painted on your way to the world famous “Bubble Man” for his outrageously entertaining bubble show. Learn how to make a t shirt with Starbaks who will provide live shirt pressing where you can give it a try yourself. Stroll through the musical instrument petting zoo giving a variety of instruments your hands on, then hop into an interactive group class to learn singing, rhythms, and the joy of expressing yourself. All of the activities are crafted for interactive learning and wild fun for the kids and also the parents.
Savor the sound is an artist driven youth music non-profit that creates and facilitates programs from pre-k through high school. We operate on the idea and fact that early music education improves IQ, reasoning, arithmetic, English, social awareness, while reducing the risk of dangerous behaviors later in life. We also operate on the idea that living your dreams and passions, while being fair and giving, makes the world a far better place … take imagination.
We are turning up the volume on music education.

Taste the Music
Taste the Music is the unique and innovative presentation of music as it appears on your plate. The chef is challenged to create a cullinary cover of a song written by an original artist then savored by your ears and palate simultaneously. There will be interesting pairings of wines, musical meldings, and chef delights all along the way as you take this ‘tour de force’ of the blending senses… sounds delicious!

Preschool Jamboree
More energy than a supernova gathers in one place as the teachers, directors, parents, volunteers, musicians, and children all dance, sing, and smile together in celebration of a great year of pre- school jamming. Each school will show case their new musical skills, each person in the room will be infected with the fantastic giddiness of youth, and the world will be a brighter place.
